The band, "Streets of Acid" is comprised of Joe Hastings (Guitar, Samples, Microphone Sound Effects, Vocal effects), Rob Dewey (Piano, Organ, Laptop Samples, Synth), Richard Casey (Electric and Upright Bass), and Zach Michels (Drums and Percussion).

In 2002, the band, "Guitarzan Vs. Bazzilla featuring Drumasaurus Rex!", having a weekly residency night at The Terminal Bar in NE Minneapolis would invite friends and bands such as Rick McCollum (Afghan Whigs) and many others to play. "THE STREETS OF ACID" were formed as an experimental side project of G.V.B.F.D.R. that hosted the year long residency.

This album of seven tracks was recorded live in the studio straight to 2" magnetic tape then split-second bounced and mixed live to CD-R. It was mixed and recorded "on the fly" by Mike Wisti at Albatross Studios , Minneapolis, Minnesota, in March of 2003.

From minimalist to all encompassing waves of frequencies-tension and release comes, "Lajamanu" an ambient escapade of a didgeridoo, percussion and guiatr texture. This album features Shivaji (didgeridoo), Zach Michels (percussion) and Joe Hastings (guitar). Recorded live in the studio by Mike Wisti at Albatross studios in Minneapolis. For a live trio, this album sounds like a school of blue whales rumbling through the ocean floor. Track one starts out with a tease flow, "Lajamanu" into a myriad of liquid rumbles known as "Wamambool" full streams of consciousness with overt expression.

This recording is an approach in progression, instrumentation, experimentation and healing vibrations. All songs on this disc were not pre-cognitioned, meaning that there was no communique between the players about anything relating to the music prior to the recording, the music is completely improvised. This is a classic album for you space-out-didgeridoo-electric guitar-world-drum-kind of humans! Is it space people, rockers, or is it the Lajamanu (ambient sound and song)? 7 Tracks Total run time 48:14

Produced by Joe Hastings (1997) A Punk-Blues-Space-rock quartet from Minneapolis who called themselves "2200". Joe Hastings (Guitar, vocals), Mark McCaghy (Lead vocals). An evolutionary concept album recorded live that starts with 40's-50's earliest electric blues songs such as, T-Bone Walker's "T-Bone Shuffle" and "Stormy Monday", Jimmy Reed's "Baby what you want me to do", then evolving into early rock-n-roll with the Beatles, "I Saw Her Standing There", Chuck Berry's "Roll Over Beethoven", then Ray Charles's, "Baby let me hold your hand", then an original crazy guitar John Lee Hooker style stomp rocker entitled, "Hooker", an instrumental live version! You thought that was all? No way! The album then explodes into one of the darkest deepest oceanic sounding waves of ambient space that is 17 minutes of full-on frontal space-out! Leading the way into "Extraterrestrial Highway"! The first four tracks are recorded live at the 400 bar (opening for R.L. Burnside) and are relatively smooth and vintage sounding, then a gusher of distorted bliss (not for the faint hearted) recorded at Biscuits and Blues in march of 1997 and is some of the highest energy sounding punk blues to come outta' Minneapolis period! (TOTAL RUN TIME 42:52; 7 TRACKS)
